On July 5, 2009 our pastor and friend, Perry Chernesky was called to his eternal home in heaven. We will surely miss his smile and his deep and genuine love for God, family, church and community.

We at Oakbank Baptist Church would like to express our heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of care, concern and sympathy extended to our church family during this difficult time.  We have truly felt an outpouring of love and support from the community of Oakbank and beyond.  Thank you so much for blessing us in this way.
