At Oakbank Baptist Church young people are very important persons.  Young people are the future of every society and so we strive to give our young people every opportunity to discover their purpose in life through study and through fun and educational community building events.

Youth group at Oakbank Baptist church is a great activity for youth. We get to have a Bible study every Wednesday and twice every month is an exciting youth event like.... Wheelies, A- Maze- In Corn or swimming at Pan Am Pool ...etc. We all look forward to these exciting events because we get to hang out with friends and just have fun. The youth group is a fun group which  is led by exciting and fun leaders.    The youth group meets every Wednesday for a more relaxing and structured time reading and  learning about the Bible. We meet for around an hour and a half. We do different studies and sometimes watch  movies. It is a fun but more settled time.    Twice every month we meet on Fridays and do some of the coolest youth events. My favourite was the couch car rally. Each of the two teams got in a truck with a couch and drove around Winnipeg to designated places and took a picture with the couch. We had a blast. There is always laughing and good times whether it’s sleepovers or day  trips (youth convention) we all have a blast!!!
